Close up portrait of young man in white hoodie against hazy sky

Prompt

A young man with tousled dark hair stands against a soft, dreamy sky background.

Subject: A young man with messy dark brown hair and a neutral expression.

Clothing: He wears a white hooded sweatshirt with the drawstrings hanging down.

Action: His gaze is obscured by a horizontal streak of bright orange light that blurs across his eyes like a lens flare or speed line.

Environment: The background is a hazy, out-of-focus sky with soft gradients of pale blue and warm yellow tones.

Camera: A close-up portrait shot with a shallow depth of field that renders the background into a smooth blur.

Lighting: Soft, diffused lighting creates a gentle glow around the subject, enhanced by the bright orange light streak across his face.

Style Details: The image has a dreamy, ethereal aesthetic with a soft-focus filter and warm color grading reminiscent of film photography.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating conceptual editorial portraits, music album artwork, and atmospheric character studies. The combination of 'soft, diffused lighting' and the 'hazy, out-of-focus sky' ensures that the subject remains grounded while the dramatic 'bright orange light streak' provides a focal point that suggests movement or memory, preventing the portrait from feeling static.

Suggestions

Change 'tousled dark hair' to 'slicked back wet hair' for a different mood.
Swap 'white hooded sweatshirt' for 'charcoal knit sweater' to deepen contrast.
Adjust 'pale blue and warm yellow tones' to 'muted teal and peach gradients' for an alternative color palette.
