Handsome young man in linen shirt sitting on coastal deck by ocean

Prompt

A handsome young man with dark curly hair sits in a wooden chair on a coastal deck.

Subject: A young man with thick dark wavy hair and light stubble, looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression.

Clothing: He wears an unbuttoned white linen shirt revealing his chest, paired with loose-fitting denim jeans.

Action: He sits in a relaxed pose with his hands resting on the armrests of the wooden chair.

Environment: The setting is a seaside location with crashing ocean waves and rocky cliffs visible in the background.

Camera: Shot from a straight-on eye-level perspective with a shallow depth of field that blurs the background slightly.

Lighting: Soft, diffused natural light creates high-contrast shadows and highlights typical of black and white photography.

Style Details: Black and white monochrome aesthetic with a cinematic film grain texture.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating moody portraiture, editorial menswear features, and atmospheric travel storytelling. The combination of 'soft, diffused natural light' generating high-contrast shadows against the 'black and white monochrome aesthetic' ensures that the visible textures of the 'linen shirt' and wood remain palpable, preventing the image from looking flat despite the outdoor setting.

Suggestions

Change 'dark curly hair' to 'slicked back wavy hair' for a different mood.
Add 'Kodak Portra 800 film grain' for a specific vintage feel.
Swap 'wooden chair' for 'weathered driftwood bench' to better match the coastal environment.
