Man with dark curly hair on wooden boardwalk at dusk by ocean

Prompt

A man with curly dark hair and a beard stands on a wooden boardwalk at dusk, wearing sunglasses and a green striped shirt.

Subject: A man with thick curly dark hair, a mustache, and a goatee, wearing black sunglasses.

Clothing: A light green button-up shirt with thin vertical stripes, sleeves rolled up to the elbows.

Action: In the first panel he runs his hand through his hair while looking away, in the second he gazes over his shoulder, and in the third he leans against a wooden railing with a relaxed posture.

Environment: A sandy beach with ocean waves rolling in under a twilight sky, with a wooden structure lit by warm string lights in the background.

Camera: Medium shot capturing the subject from the waist up, with a shallow depth of field that blurs the background slightly to emphasize the foreground figure.

Lighting: Soft ambient light from the setting sun casting a warm glow on the horizon, contrasted by the cool blue tones of the evening sky and the warm artificial glow from the string lights behind him.

Style Details: Naturalistic photography with a cinematic color palette blending deep blues and soft oranges, high detail in skin texture and fabric weave.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating cinematic travel posters, editorial lifestyle photography, and character concept art for film. The combination of 'soft ambient light from the setting sun' against the 'cool blue tones of the evening sky' establishes a dramatic contrast that highlights the subject while keeping the background elements—like the wooden structure lit by warm string lights—visually supportive without competing with the foreground figure.

Suggestions

Change 'green striped shirt' to 'navy blue linen shirt' for a different color story.
Adjust 'shallow depth of field' to 'deep focus' for more environmental context.
Replace 'wooden boardwalk' with 'stone pier' to alter the ground texture.
