Portrait of young man in black turtleneck against glowing circular neon light

Prompt

A striking portrait of a young man with curly dark hair and stubble, wearing reflective sunglasses and looking to the side against a glowing circular light ring.

Subject: A young man with short, messy curly dark hair and visible facial stubble.

Clothing: He wears a black high-neck turtleneck sweater and a silver chain link necklace around his neck.

Action: The subject is in profile view, gazing off to the right side of the frame with a neutral expression.

Environment: A dark, featureless background dominated by a large, bright white circular neon ring light positioned directly behind the subject's head.

Lighting: High-contrast lighting with a strong cool blue color cast, where the primary illumination comes from the glowing ring light creating a halo effect and rim lighting on the hair and shoulders.

Style Details: Cinematic photography style with a moody atmosphere, sharp focus on the face, and a distinct cool-toned aesthetic.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating album art, cinematic character portraits, and high-fashion editorial spreads needing dramatic contrast. The combination of 'high-contrast lighting' with a strong 'cool blue color cast' ensures the halo effect from the neon ring light sharply separates the subject from the dark background, preventing the portrait from looking flat while emphasizing the texture in his 'curly dark hair'.

Suggestions

Change 'black high-neck turtleneck sweater' to 'charcoal knit turtleneck' for a softer contrast.
Replace 'gazing off to the right side of the frame' with 'looking directly at the camera' for more engagement.
Adjust 'cool blue color cast' to 'cyan and magenta split tone' for an alternative neon feel.
