Black and white portrait of young man in wool coat against stark

Prompt

A striking black-and-white portrait of a young man with dark curly hair and a serious expression looking directly at the camera.

Subject: A young man with thick, dark, curly hair that frames his forehead, deep-set eyes, and a neutral to slightly intense facial expression.

Clothing: He wears a heavy, dark wool coat with wide lapels over a light-colored, ribbed knit sweater.

Action: The subject stands facing forward with a direct gaze, hands likely in pockets given the silhouette of the coat, projecting a calm but confident demeanor.

Environment: A stark, high-key white studio background featuring two faint, ghostly double-exposure silhouettes of his profile on either side of his head.

Camera: Shot from a straight-on eye-level angle with a medium close-up framing that emphasizes the subject's face and upper torso.

Lighting: High-key lighting creates a bright, clean look with soft shadows defining the facial structure and deep contrast between the dark coat and white background.

Style Details: Black-and-white photography with high contrast, double-exposure artistic effect, minimalist composition, and a vintage film grain texture.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating minimalist editorial portraits, vintage character studies, and high-contrast fine art prints. The combination of 'high-key lighting' against the 'stark, high-key white studio background' maximizes contrast, allowing the texture of the dark wool coat to read sharply while the double-exposure effect adds a layer of conceptual depth suitable for gallery display.

Suggestions

Change 'dark curly hair' to 'slicked back hair' for a different silhouette.
Swap 'wool coat' for 'trench coat' to alter the garment shape.
Adjust 'medium close-up framing' to 'head and shoulders shot' for more focus on the face.
