Close up portrait of young woman with dark hair at golden hour

Prompt

A close-up portrait of a young woman with long dark hair and warm skin tones bathed in golden hour sunlight.

Subject: A young woman with deep brown eyes, defined eyebrows, and soft pink lips, her face partially framed by strands of hair blowing gently across her features.

Clothing: She wears a maroon top with a delicate silver necklace visible at the neckline, complemented by small stud earrings and a large gold ring on her finger.

Action: Her head is tilted slightly upward as she gazes off-camera, one hand raised to gently touch her neck while strands of hair drift across her face in the breeze.

Environment: The background is softly blurred with warm golden tones suggesting an outdoor setting during sunset or sunrise, creating a dreamy and intimate atmosphere.

Camera: Shot with a shallow depth of field that keeps the subject sharply focused while blurring the background, using a portrait-oriented framing to emphasize facial expressions and details.

Lighting: Warm directional sunlight illuminates her face from above and slightly behind, casting soft highlights on her skin and hair while leaving subtle shadows for depth and dimension.

Style Details: High-resolution photography with natural color grading, fine film grain texture, and a cinematic glow that enhances the warmth and emotional tone of the image.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating intimate portrait photography, editorial beauty shots, and cinematic character studies. The combination of 'warm directional sunlight' from above and behind sculpts the face by creating soft highlights that emphasize skin texture while the shallow depth of field ensures the background remains softly blurred, preventing visual distraction from the subject's expression.

Suggestions

Change 'maroon top' to 'cream silk blouse' for a lighter feel.
Add '85mm lens' to enhance the portrait compression effect.
Swap 'fine film grain texture' for 'smooth digital finish' if you want less grit.
