Handsome man leaning on railing overlooking blurred city skyline at night

Prompt

A confident man stands leaning against a railing at night with a city skyline blurred in the background.

Subject: A handsome man with short dark hair and a clean-shaven face looking directly at the camera with a subtle smile.

Clothing: He wears a white button-down shirt with sleeves rolled to the elbows, unbuttoned at the top to reveal his chest, paired with a black necktie that hangs loosely and is untied.

Action: He leans casually against a dark railing with one arm resting on it while looking forward.

Environment: The setting is an outdoor balcony or terrace at night, featuring a blurred cityscape with warm bokeh lights in the distance.

Camera: Shot with a shallow depth of field that keeps the subject sharp while rendering the background as soft out-of-focus circles of light.

Lighting: Warm ambient lighting highlights his face and shirt against the dark evening sky, creating a moody atmosphere.

Style Details: The image has a cinematic quality with high contrast between the bright subject and the dark surroundings.

Description

This prompt is useful for generating movie poster concepts, brooding character portraits, and atmospheric editorial spreads for menswear magazines. The combination of 'shallow depth of field' keeping the subject sharp against 'warm bokeh lights' prevents the background from becoming a distracting mess, while the 'high contrast between the bright subject and the dark surroundings' establishes the necessary dramatic tension for cinematic storytelling.

Suggestions

Change 'white button-down shirt' to 'charcoal turtleneck' for a more severe look.
Swap 'dark railing' for 'weathered concrete' to change the texture.
Add 'rim lighting from below' to emphasize the jawline.
