High contrast black and white portrait of man with beard and suit

Prompt

A dramatic black and white portrait of a man with dark hair and a beard looking directly at the camera.

Subject: A man with thick dark hair styled upwards and a full beard covering his jawline and chin.

Clothing: He wears a dark suit jacket over a collared shirt and a tie, all appearing in deep shadow.

Action: The subject faces forward with a neutral expression and steady gaze, his head slightly tilted.

Environment: A dark, indistinct background that fades into blackness behind the figure.

Camera: Close-up framing focused on the face and upper torso with a shallow depth of field.

Lighting: Strong rim lighting from above creates a halo effect around the hair and shoulders while casting deep shadows across the face.

Style Details: High contrast monochrome photography with visible film grain texture.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating dramatic character studies, fine art portraiture prints, and moody editorial features. The combination of 'strong rim lighting from above' and the 'deep shadows across the face' sculpts the bone structure dramatically, which is essential for achieving the high contrast look favored in classic cinematic photography.
