High contrast black and white studio portrait of woman with dark hair

Prompt

A high-contrast black and white studio portrait of a woman with long dark hair looking directly at the camera.

Subject: A woman with long, dark, wavy hair cascading over her shoulder, featuring defined eyebrows, prominent eyelashes, and a neutral expression with slightly parted lips.

Clothing: She wears a light-colored button-down shirt underneath a dark blazer or jacket.

Action: Her head is tilted back slightly as she gazes forward, while one hand rests behind her neck with fingers curled near the collarbone.

Objects: A thick chain-link bracelet adorns her wrist, and a small tattoo is visible on her forearm.

Lighting: Dramatic studio lighting creates strong highlights on her face and hair against deep shadows, emphasizing facial features and texture.

Camera: Close-up framing captures the subject from the chest up with a shallow depth of field that blurs the dark background.

Style Details: Black and white monochrome aesthetic with high contrast and sharp focus on the subject's face.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating dramatic editorial portraits, fine art photography studies, and character concept sheets requiring intense mood. The combination of 'dramatic studio lighting' and 'high contrast black and white monochrome aesthetic' ensures that the strong highlights on her face and hair carve out texture against deep shadows, preventing the image from becoming flat while keeping the focus tightly controlled by the 'shallow depth of field'.

Suggestions

Change 'dark blazer or jacket' to 'velvet blazer' for a different textural contrast.
Add 'Rembrandt lighting' to specify the shadow pattern on her face.
Swap 'thick chain-link bracelet' for 'single pearl bracelet' for a more delicate accent.
