Man leaning on weathered stone staircase overlooking calm blue sea at golden

Prompt

A smiling man with curly dark hair and a beard leans casually against a weathered stone wall on an outdoor staircase overlooking the sea.

Subject: A young man with short curly black hair, a full beard, and a warm smile looking directly at the camera.

Clothing: He wears a plain black crew-neck t-shirt tucked into loose-fitting white trousers.

Action: He leans back against the stone wall with his left arm extended outward in a welcoming gesture while his right hand rests near his side.

Environment: The setting is an old stone staircase or walkway with low walls on either side, leading down toward a calm blue sea under a bright sky. Green shrubs grow along the edges of the path.

Camera: Shot from a slightly low angle with a shallow depth of field that keeps the subject sharp while softly blurring the background and foreground stairs.

Lighting: Warm golden-hour sunlight illuminates the scene from the side, casting soft shadows and highlighting the texture of the stone wall and the man’s face.

Style Details: Naturalistic photography with rich textures, warm tones, and a cinematic yet candid feel.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating travel magazine features, character portraits set in dramatic locations, and cinematic film stills. The combination of 'warm golden-hour sunlight' casting soft shadows against the 'weathered stone wall' emphasizes rich textures, which grounds the subject while the 'shallow depth of field' isolates him from the background stairs.

Suggestions

Change 'plain black crew-neck t-shirt' to 'linen button down shirt' for more texture.
Adjust 'low angle' to 'eye level' for a more direct portrait feel.
Swap 'green shrubs' for 'Mediterranean cypress trees' to enhance the coastal vibe.
