Portrait of young woman in white lace gown against gold curtain backlight

Prompt

A portrait of a young woman with long dark wavy hair wearing a white strapless dress with lace-up detailing on the bodice.

Subject: A young woman with deep brown skin and long, voluminous dark wavy hair cascading over her shoulders. She has defined eyebrows, subtle eye makeup, and glossy lips.

Clothing: She wears a structured white off-the-shoulder gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and a corset-style lace-up front with silver grommets. The fabric appears to have a ribbed texture on the bodice.

Action: She stands facing forward with a calm, soft expression and direct gaze toward the camera. Her posture is relaxed yet poised.

Environment: The background consists of heavy gold-colored curtains framing a bright window that creates a strong backlight effect.

Lighting: Strong natural light streams from behind the subject, creating a glowing halo around her hair and shoulders while casting soft shadows on her face.

Camera: Medium close-up shot with a shallow depth of field that keeps the subject sharp while softly blurring the background curtains.

Style Details: High-resolution photography with a polished, elegant aesthetic and warm color tones.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating bridal editorial spreads, high-end portraiture advertising, and luxury catalog imagery. The combination of 'strong backlight' generating a glowing halo effect against the 'heavy gold-colored curtains' ensures that the subject remains the focal point while bathing the scene in warm tones suitable for opulent fashion narratives.

Suggestions

Change 'white strapless dress' to 'ivory lace gown' for a warmer tone.
Add 'cinematic volumetric lighting' to enhance the backlight effect.
Swap 'medium close-up shot' for 'head and shoulders portrait' to emphasize the face.
