Professional portrait of man in dark suit jacket against solid black background

Prompt

A professional portrait of a man with dark hair and a beard wearing clear-framed glasses.

Subject: A man with short black hair and a well-groomed beard looking directly at the camera with a serious expression.

Clothing: He wears a dark grey textured suit jacket over a white collared shirt that is unbuttoned at the top, revealing his neck.

Action: The subject sits facing forward with his arms resting on a surface in front of him.

Environment: A solid black background provides high contrast and isolates the subject.

Camera: Shot with a medium close-up framing using a shallow depth of field to blur the background slightly.

Lighting: Dramatic studio lighting illuminates the face from the front while casting soft shadows on the suit.

Objects: A black smartwatch is visible on his left wrist.

Style Details: High-contrast photography with sharp focus on facial features and a clean, professional aesthetic.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating corporate headshots, fine art portraiture studies, and high-end branding materials requiring intense focus on the subject's gaze. The combination of 'dramatic studio lighting' illuminating the face while maintaining a 'solid black background' ensures that all visual attention remains fixed on the man's expression, preventing any distracting environmental context from pulling focus away from his features.

Suggestions

Change 'dark grey textured suit jacket' to 'charcoal wool blazer' for more depth.
Add 'rim lighting accentuating jawline' to enhance facial structure.
Swap 'medium close-up framing' for 'head and shoulders shot' to emphasize the gaze.
