Prompt

A woman stands in profile against a calm ocean backdrop.

Subject: A woman with dark skin and intricate cornrow braids gathered into a low bun at the back of her head.

Clothing: She wears an elegant black off-the-shoulder gown featuring sheer mesh panels over the shoulders and chest, adorned with elaborate gold and teal geometric embroidery that extends from the neckline down to the waist and along the sleeves.

Action: She stands in a relaxed pose facing left with her eyes cast downward in a contemplative expression.

Environment: The background consists of a soft-focus seascape with gentle waves rolling toward the shore under an overcast sky.

Lighting: Soft, diffused natural light illuminates the scene evenly, creating a serene and slightly muted atmosphere without harsh shadows.

Camera: A medium close-up shot framed from the side profile with a shallow depth of field that blurs the ocean background to emphasize the subject.

Style Details: High-fashion editorial photography with a focus on intricate textile details and a sophisticated, moody color palette.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating high-fashion editorial moodboards, character concept art featuring dramatic costuming, and cinematic portraiture emphasizing melancholy. The combination of 'black off-the-shoulder gown' with 'gold and teal geometric embroidery' against a 'soft-focus seascape' directs the model to prioritize textile richness while using the diffused light to keep the focus tightly on the subject's contemplative expression rather than harsh highlights.

Suggestions

Change 'overcast sky' to 'dusk sky' for richer background tones.
Swap 'gold and teal geometric embroidery' for 'iridescent silver beadwork' to alter the metallic feel.
Adjust 'medium close-up shot' to 'full body shot' if you want more of the gown visible.
