Solitary figure in trench coat against hazy misty urban skyline digital painting

Prompt

A solitary figure stands in profile against a hazy urban skyline.

Subject: A person with dark hair tied back stands facing right, viewed from the side, wearing a long hooded coat and dark trousers.

Clothing: The individual wears a loose-fitting, oversized beige trench coat with a visible hood, paired with dark pants and sturdy boots.

Action: The figure stands still in profile, gazing out toward the distant cityscape.

Environment: A misty urban setting featuring tall skyscrapers fading into the fog, with rain streaks falling vertically across the scene and small birds perched on a ledge in the foreground.

Camera: Medium shot capturing the full height of the subject against the backdrop, utilizing a shallow depth of field that blurs the distant buildings to emphasize the figure.

Lighting: Soft, diffused ambient light creates a muted atmosphere with low contrast, casting gentle shadows and contributing to the overcast mood.

Style Details: Digital painting style featuring visible brushstrokes, watercolor-like washes, and a textured, impressionistic finish that mimics wet-on-wet paint application.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating atmospheric concept art, moody travel posters, and narrative scene illustrations. The combination of 'watercolor-like washes' with a 'shallow depth of field' ensures the focus remains tightly on the figure while the hazy skyline recedes into abstraction, perfectly capturing a sense of isolation.

Suggestions

Change 'beige trench coat' to 'charcoal wool coat' for a darker silhouette.
Add 'bokeh effect' to enhance the background blur further.
Swap 'rain streaks falling vertically' for 'wet pavement reflections' to change the ground detail.
