The combination of 'soft ambient light' and the 'shallow depth of field' ensures the subject remains sharply focused against a blurred background, which emphasizes the delicate pastel tones of the mauve sweater and abstract wall art.

Suggestions

Change 'light mauve turtleneck sweater' to 'cream knit sweater' for a warmer feel.
Adjust 'abstract shapes in pink and purple tones' to 'geometric shapes in blush and slate'.
