Dramatic black and white portrait of woman in feathers looking over shoulder

Prompt

A dramatic black-and-white studio portrait of a woman with voluminous dark hair and intense gaze over her shoulder.

Subject: A woman with deep skin tone, defined facial features, and a confident expression looking back over her left shoulder. Her hair is styled in a large, windswept updo that frames her face.

Clothing: She wears an elaborate, strapless garment made entirely of long, fluffy white ostrich feathers that cascade down from her shoulders. Large feather earrings dangle from her ears.

Action: The subject turns her upper body away from the camera but looks back directly at the viewer with a serious, captivating expression. Her posture is poised and elegant.

Environment: A solid black background provides high contrast and isolates the subject completely.

Camera: Shot with a medium telephoto lens to compress the perspective and keep the focus tight on the upper body and face. The framing is a close-up portrait that emphasizes texture and form.

Lighting: Strong, directional studio lighting highlights the contours of her back, shoulder, and face while casting deep shadows against the black backdrop.

Style Details: High-contrast monochrome photography with sharp focus on skin texture and feather details.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating dramatic editorial fashion spreads, artistic portrait photography books, and high-end beauty advertising campaigns. The combination of 'strong directional studio lighting' against a 'solid black background' creates the necessary deep shadows and intense focus on texture that elevates the subject beyond simple documentation.

Suggestions

Change 'ostrich feathers' to 'black peacock feathers' for more pattern variation.
Adjust 'medium telephoto lens' to '85mm portrait lens' for a different compression effect.
Swap 'deep skin tone' for 'olive skin' if you want a slightly warmer monochrome read.
