Dramatic profile portrait of woman with black hair in red haze

Prompt

A dramatic portrait of a woman with long dark hair in profile against a shadowy background.

Subject: A woman with long, wavy black hair and a fair complexion shown in profile facing left, her eyes cast downward with a contemplative expression.

Clothing: She wears a black top with a deep neckline, partially obscured by shadows, and a delicate gold chain necklace is visible against her skin.

Action: Her right hand is raised to the back of her head, fingers gently running through her hair, while she wears a thin bracelet on her wrist.

Environment: The background is dark and indistinct, filled with faint red atmospheric haze or smoke that adds depth to the scene.

Camera: A close-up shot framed tightly on the subject's upper body, utilizing a shallow depth of field to keep the focus sharp on her face while softening the surroundings.

Lighting: Strong side lighting illuminates the left side of her face and hair, creating high contrast with deep shadows, accented by a red rim light that outlines her silhouette against the dark backdrop.

Style Details: High-contrast photography with a cinematic color palette emphasizing deep blacks and vibrant red highlights, featuring soft focus on the edges to enhance the moody atmosphere.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating dramatic character studies, moody editorial spreads, and cinematic album art. The combination of 'strong side lighting' and a 'red rim light' sculpts the subject's profile by maximizing contrast against the 'shadowy background', ensuring that the delicate gold chain necklace remains visible despite the deep blacks.

Suggestions

Change 'black top' to 'velvet black top' for more texture.
Adjust 'red atmospheric haze' to 'smoky purple haze' for a different color tone.
Swap 'close-up shot' to 'head and shoulders shot' to include more of the upper body.
