Man in black coat profile against swirling smoke and horizontal light bar

Subject: A man with short dark curly hair and a full beard, looking off to the side with a serious expression.

Clothing: He is wearing a long black coat with a high collar and visible buttons down the front.

Action: He stands still in profile view with his arms hanging loosely at his sides.

Environment: The background is pitch black, filled with thick white smoke that swirls around him, with a bright horizontal light bar positioned behind his torso.

Camera: Shot from a medium shot angle with a slight low perspective, capturing the subject from the waist up against the dramatic backdrop.

Lighting: Strong backlighting from the horizontal light source creates a silhouette effect on the coat while illuminating the smoke and facial features from the side.

Style Details: High contrast black and white photography with cinematic smoke effects and a moody, mysterious atmosphere.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating dramatic character portraits, movie poster concepts, and high-contrast editorial spreads. The combination of 'strong backlighting' and the 'pitch black' backdrop emphasizes the silhouette effect on the coat while allowing the smoke to catch visible detail, which is essential for a moody atmosphere that avoids flat lighting.
