Medium close up portrait of young woman with dark wavy hair

Prompt

A close-up portrait of a young woman with long dark wavy hair and warm skin tone looking directly at the camera.

Subject: A young woman with long dark wavy hair cascading over her shoulders, defined eyebrows, subtle makeup including eyeliner and glossy lips, and a soft smile.

Clothing: She wears a light pink satin-like strap top featuring a gathered front bodice with a small bow detail at the neckline, complemented by a classic single-strand pearl necklace and a small pearl stud earring.

Action: The subject faces forward with a gentle expression, her gaze fixed directly on the viewer while her head is slightly tilted.

Environment: The background consists of soft vertical panels in muted green and brown tones that are out of focus to emphasize the subject.

Camera: Shot as a medium close-up portrait with a shallow depth of field that blurs the background and highlights facial features.

Lighting: Soft directional lighting illuminates her face from the left, creating gentle shadows on the right side of her cheek and neck while adding a warm glow to her skin.

Style Details: The image has a polished studio photography aesthetic with smooth skin texture and a soft color palette dominated by pinks and earth tones.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating beauty editorial spreads, intimate portraiture for branding, and fine art headshots requiring subtle warmth. The combination of 'soft directional lighting' casting gentle shadows on the right side and the 'light pink satin-like strap top' ensures that the subject retains dimension rather than appearing flat under uniform illumination, while the muted green and brown background keeps focus tightly on the face.

Suggestions

Change 'light pink satin-like strap top' to 'ivory silk camisole' for a more neutral palette.
Swap 'soft directional lighting' for 'Rembrandt lighting' to deepen facial contours.
