Woman with wet dark hair leaning on concrete pool edge gazing forward

Prompt

A woman with wet dark hair leans her arms on the concrete edge of a swimming pool while gazing directly at the camera.

Subject: A woman with long, wet, dark hair slicked back from her forehead and intense blue eyes.

Clothing: She is wearing a strapless turquoise garment that blends seamlessly with the water around her chest.

Action: Her arms are crossed over the pool edge, supporting her chin as she looks forward with a serious expression.

Environment: The setting is a swimming pool with clear turquoise water on the left and a textured concrete deck on the right.

Lighting: Soft natural daylight illuminates the scene, creating gentle highlights on her wet skin and hair while casting subtle shadows in the background.

Style Details: High-resolution portrait photography with realistic textures, smooth skin tones, and a shallow depth of field that keeps the subject sharp against a slightly blurred background.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating cinematic character portraits, editorial swimwear features, and moody fine art photography. The combination of 'wet dark hair' and 'soft natural daylight' emphasizes the sheen on her skin and locks in the high-contrast look needed for dramatic portraiture, while the 'shallow depth of field' ensures the viewer focuses solely on her gaze against the textured concrete.

Suggestions

Change 'turquoise garment' to 'deep emerald fabric' for a richer color contrast.
Add 'rim lighting from the side' to enhance the wetness effect.
Swap 'concrete deck' for 'dark slate tile' to deepen the background tones.
