Young east asian woman smiling on sun dappled campus pathway with book

Prompt

A young woman stands smiling on a sun-dappled paved path lined with tall trees and greenery.

Subject: A young East Asian woman with dark hair tied back in a ponytail, featuring a gentle smile and soft facial features.

Clothing: She wears a crisp white short-sleeved collared shirt tucked into a light blue pleated mini skirt, paired with white ankle socks and white sneakers.

Action: She stands facing forward with her arms crossed holding a book against her chest, looking directly at the camera.

Objects: A beige canvas tote bag hangs from her left shoulder, and she holds a book titled "中国美学" (Chinese Aesthetics) in both hands.

Environment: The setting is an outdoor campus or park pathway with dappled sunlight filtering through large trees, casting shadows on the asphalt.

Lighting: Bright natural daylight creates soft, high-contrast shadows on the ground and highlights the subject's face and clothing.

Camera: Eye-level medium shot with a shallow depth of field that blurs the background trees and path slightly to focus attention on the subject.

Style Details: Photorealistic portrait style with vibrant colors and a clean, bright aesthetic typical of lifestyle photography.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating college campus lifestyle editorials, book promotion imagery, and natural portrait studies. The combination of 'dappled sunlight' casting high-contrast shadows and the 'shallow depth of field' ensures that while the environment suggests a real outdoor setting, the background blur keeps the viewer's focus tightly on the subject and her held book.

Suggestions

Change 'light blue pleated mini skirt' to 'khaki chino shorts' for a more casual feel.
Swap 'beige canvas tote bag' for 'woven straw basket' to match the natural elements.
Adjust 'Bright natural daylight' to 'overcast soft light' if you want less harsh shadow contrast.
