Close up of sunbird perched on pink red flowers with green leaf

Prompt

A vibrant sunbird perched gracefully on a cluster of delicate pink and red flowers with a large green leaf in the background.

Subject: A small bird featuring an iridescent blue throat, olive-brown wings, and a bright yellow belly, with a long, curved black beak pointing upward.

Action: The bird is perched still on a branch, looking slightly to the right.

Environment: The foreground is filled with clusters of pinkish-white flowers with red accents, while large green leaves frame the right side against a soft-focus natural background.

Camera: A close-up shot with a shallow depth of field that blurs the background into smooth bokeh, emphasizing the sharp details of the bird and flowers.

Lighting: Soft, diffused daylight illuminates the scene evenly, highlighting the iridescent sheen on the bird’s throat without harsh shadows.

Style Details: Naturalistic wildlife photography with vibrant colors and a clean, high-resolution aesthetic.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating scientific nature guides, fine art botanical prints, and detailed wildlife documentary stills. The combination of 'iridescent blue throat' against the soft focus achieved by 'shallow depth of field' ensures that the bird’s specific coloration remains the primary focal point, preventing it from being lost in overly bright or distracting background elements.

Suggestions

Change 'pinkish-white flowers with red accents' to 'deep magenta orchids' for more contrast.
Swap 'soft, diffused daylight' for 'rim lighting at dawn' to emphasize feather edges.
Adjust the bird's pose by adding 'head slightly tilted down' to change its interaction with the flowers.
