Close up portrait of young woman with blue eyes and freckles

Prompt

A close-up portrait of a young woman with striking blue eyes and freckles looking directly at the camera.

Subject: A young woman with fair skin covered in small freckles across her nose and cheeks, featuring intense blue eyes and long, thick black box braids that cascade over her shoulders.

Clothing: She wears a dark green, chunky knit sweater with a visible ribbed texture around the neckline.

Action: Her head is turned slightly to the side while she gazes forward with a calm, neutral expression and soft lips.

Environment: The background is a cozy, dimly lit interior resembling a library or study room with blurred wooden bookshelves filled with books and warm ambient lighting from lamps in the distance.

Lighting: Soft, natural light illuminates her face from the left side, creating gentle highlights on her skin while the rest of the scene is bathed in warm, golden indoor tones.

Camera: Shot with a shallow depth of field that keeps the subject in sharp focus while blurring the background into soft bokeh circles.

Style Details: The image has a cinematic, photorealistic quality with rich color grading and a slightly grainy texture reminiscent of film photography.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating character concept art, intimate portraiture for literary magazines, and moody editorial beauty shots. The combination of 'soft, natural light' illuminating her face from the left side against a background with 'warm, golden indoor tones' ensures that the freckles and blue eyes remain visible without harsh shadows, while the 'shallow depth of field' isolates the subject against the blurred library setting.

Suggestions

Change 'dark green, chunky knit sweater' to 'charcoal grey silk blouse' for a different texture.
Swap 'warm, golden indoor tones' for 'deep jewel-toned ambient light' to increase moodiness.
Add '85mm lens' to enhance the portrait compression and bokeh.
