Close up selfie of young woman with dark hair indoors

Prompt

A close-up selfie of a young woman with long dark hair and prominent eyebrows looking directly at the camera.

Subject: A young woman with long wavy dark brown hair, defined eyebrows, and a neutral expression. She is wearing a white earbud in her left ear.

Clothing: She wears a cream-colored ribbed knit top with bold horizontal black stripes and short sleeves.

Action: Her right hand is raised to her forehead, fingers gently touching her hair as she leans into the frame.

Environment: The background shows an indoor setting with light wood paneling or shelving on the right side.

Camera: A close-up selfie angle taken from a slightly high perspective looking down at the subject.

Lighting: Soft, warm ambient indoor lighting illuminates her face and hair from the front.

Style Details: Naturalistic photography with a shallow depth of field that blurs the background to focus on the subject.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating casual social media portraits, intimate beauty close-ups, and lifestyle content mimicking candid phone snapshots. The combination of 'soft, warm ambient indoor lighting' and a 'shallow depth of field' ensures that while the subject remains clearly visible, the background elements like the wood paneling recede enough to keep focus squarely on her face and hand gesture.

Suggestions

Change 'cream-colored ribbed knit top' to 'black turtleneck' for a more dramatic contrast.
Adjust 'soft, warm ambient indoor lighting' to 'harsh window light' for higher contrast shadows.
Modify the action by having her 'holding a cup of coffee' instead of touching her hair.
