Young woman taking selfie in public restroom stall with cigarette smoke

Prompt

A young woman with long dark hair sits in a public restroom stall taking a selfie while smoking a cigarette.

Subject: A young woman with long dark hair and bangs, wearing heavy eye makeup and glossy red lipstick that appears slightly smeared or stained.

Clothing: She wears an unbuttoned white button-down shirt over a lace bralette, revealing her chest and collarbone, accessorized with a delicate gold chain necklace.

Action: She holds a lit cigarette to her lips with one hand while holding a smartphone in the other to take a selfie, looking directly at the camera with a calm expression.

Environment: The setting is a tiled public restroom stall featuring a green wall with faint graffiti and a window above that lets in natural light.

Camera: A close-up selfie angle taken from slightly below eye level, capturing the subject's face and upper body clearly.

Lighting: Warm sunlight streams through the window, casting dappled shadows on the walls and illuminating the subject’s skin with a soft glow.

Style Details: The image has a cinematic, moody aesthetic with high contrast between light and shadow, emphasizing texture and atmosphere.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating gritty character portraits, editorial street photography pieces, and mood-driven narrative concept art. The combination of 'dappled shadows' from the natural light source against the high contrast aesthetic grounds the image in a specific, lived-in moment, while the 'smeared or stained' lipstick detail adds an element of unpolished realism that avoids overly sanitized beauty shots.

Suggestions

Change 'green wall with faint graffiti' to 'terracotta tiled wall' for a different color palette.
Adjust 'glossy red lipstick' to 'matte oxblood lipstick' for a more muted look.
Modify 'soft glow' lighting to 'harsh overhead fluorescent light' for a harsher mood.
