Portrait of woman in elaborate red feathered gown against vivid blue background

Prompt

A striking portrait of a woman with dark hair pulled back, wearing an elaborate red feathered gown against a vivid blue background.

Subject: A woman with fair skin and green eyes looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression.

Clothing: She wears a sleeveless, floor-length red dress made of intricate lace fabric featuring a high collar and shoulder pieces constructed from voluminous red feathers that cascade down the bodice.

Action: She stands facing forward with her hands resting gently near her hips.

Environment: The background is a solid, bright cyan blue gradient suggesting an open sky or ocean horizon.

Camera: A medium shot capturing the subject from the waist up with a shallow depth of field that keeps the focus sharp on the model while softening the distant background.

Lighting: Bright, even studio lighting illuminates the front of the subject, highlighting the texture of the feathers and lace without casting harsh shadows.

Style Details: High-fashion editorial photography style with vibrant color contrast between the deep red attire and the cool blue backdrop.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating high-concept fashion editorials, theatrical costume design visualizations, and striking album art featuring bold color blocking. The combination of 'vivid blue background' with the 'elaborate red feathered gown' establishes a deliberate, saturated color contrast that prevents the subject from blending into the environment, while the 'bright, even studio lighting' ensures every detail of the lace and feathers remains visible without distracting shadows.

Suggestions

Change 'vivid blue background' to 'deep indigo gradient' for a more dramatic feel.
Swap 'red feathered gown' for 'crimson velvet gown' to alter the material texture.
Adjust 'neutral expression' to 'smoldering gaze' for increased emotional impact.
