Close up portrait of blonde woman with wavy hair in dark top

Prompt

A close-up portrait of a woman with short wavy hair looking slightly to the side.

Subject: A woman with shoulder-length wavy blonde hair and fair skin.

Clothing: She wears a dark sleeveless top featuring a textured geometric pattern across the chest and a ribbed neckline.

Action: Her hands are raised, with one arm bent near her head and fingers touching her hair while the other rests behind her neck.

Lighting: Soft cool-toned lighting illuminates her face from the side, creating gentle shadows and a moody atmosphere.

Environment: The background is dark and out of focus, suggesting an indoor setting with minimal distractions.

Camera: Shot with a shallow depth of field that blurs the foreground and background to emphasize the subject's face.

Style Details: High-contrast cinematic aesthetic with a cool blue color grade and soft focus rendering.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating dramatic character portraits, moody editorial spreads, and film stills requiring intense focus on facial expression. The combination of 'soft cool-toned lighting' and the 'shallow depth of field' ensures that only the subject's face remains sharp while the dark background recedes, intensifying the moodiness necessary for cinematic storytelling.

Suggestions

Change 'dark sleeveless top' to 'black velvet top' for a richer texture.
Add 'rim light catching the cheekbones' to enhance facial structure.
Swap 'cool blue color grade' for 'deep teal and navy tones' to deepen the overall palette.
