Close up portrait of a red fox sitting in tall golden grass

Prompt

A red fox sits alertly in a field of tall golden grass.

Subject: A red fox with rich orange fur, a white chest and throat, large pointed ears, and bright amber eyes looking slightly to the side.

Action: The fox is sitting still in a calm posture.

Environment: Tall, sunlit green and yellow grass surrounds the animal, with a dark, out-of-focus background suggesting a forest edge or open field at dusk.

Camera: Close-up portrait shot with a shallow depth of field that blurs the foreground grass and background into soft bokeh.

Lighting: Warm golden hour sunlight illuminates the fox from the side, highlighting the texture of its fur and casting soft shadows.

Style Details: High-resolution wildlife photography with naturalistic color grading and fine detail in the animal's coat.

Description

This prompt is useful for creating editorial nature spreads, wildlife book covers, and atmospheric desktop wallpapers featuring fauna. The combination of 'warm golden hour sunlight' hitting the fox from the side emphasizes the rich texture of its fur by creating defined highlights and soft shadows, while the 'shallow depth of field' ensures the viewer's focus remains sharply on the subject against a pleasing bokeh.

Suggestions

Change 'golden grass' to 'dry wheat stalks' for more autumnal tones.
Add 'bokeh from distant wildflowers' to enhance the background blur.
Swap 'bright amber eyes' for 'deep emerald eyes' for a different color contrast.
